I am so blessed, today, with good health. I can’t praise and thank the Lord enough.
I am symptom free, energetic, and able to participate in more than one event in a single day. Brain fog is gone, malaise is gone, pain’s gone, cough’s gone, and sore throat is gone. Repetitive upper respiratory infections, repetitive high temperature flu, repetitive pneumonia, and repetitive bronchitis are all gone. MOST of all the stone, cold deafness that I experienced for 15 days is a distant memory.
It was on June 3, 2014 after a walk with my neighbor, that Karen and I visited on the pavement between our properties under some trees when a little tick latched onto me. Four days later I was diagnosed with Lyme’s Disease. I really thought I was misdiagnosed because I was NOT nearly as sick as others that I knew (Kelly) who had received the same diagnosis. By September I began to experience more symptoms but was not relating it to Lyme’s as I had pretty much put it out of my foggy mind. September 2014 thru April 2015 I actually spent more time horizontal than vertical.
Over the past eight or nine months Ron and I frequently mentioned how thankful and blessed we are over the marked improvement in my health this past year compared to the year before when I was so sick with Lyme’s Disease. Please understand that not everyone who experiences Lyme’s Disease has the same symptoms as me nor length of illness. Many are much worse and much longer.
- I am so blessed and thankful for the good health I am now experiencing.
- I am so blessed and thankful for my recovery from Lyme’s Disease.
- I am so blessed and thankful for Ron who is a compassionate, loving, caregiver and proved it through many long nights and days.
- I am so blessed and thankful for my friend, Ramona, who was available and shared her vast experience and knowledge in nursing and kept Ron from setting my hair on fire.
- I am blessed and thankful for the many prayers that were offered on my behalf during this season of sickness.

As we come upon the second anniversary of the invasion of my body by the tick with the Spirochetes who gave me Lyme’s Disease, I am blessed and thankful that when it began I was in a good state of health.
