One of the more well-known verses in the Bible is found in 2 Corinthians 5:7, which says, “for we walk by faith, not by sight.” In Numbers 13-14, we find a group of people who abandoned this biblical concept for a different philosophy. You see, they decided to walk by sight, and not by faith! Our message today is entitled: “Losing Sight of God’s Presence in My Life.” We will be covering information from Numbers 13-14, which is a total of seventy-eight verses. Rather than read all of these today, I will begin with some summaries and basic applications from the account in chapter 13 and then look more specifically at some applications we can take from chapter 14.
